Research shows that one of the answers to these crucial questions is gratitude.
One of our priorities this year is to explore the ways in which gratitude can build a learning community, guided by the work of Dr Kerry Howells. Her research spans the last two decades of critical inquiry into the role of gratitude in education. Her book, Gratitude in Education: A Radical View, has been heralded by reviewers as ‘ground breaking’ and has become the core text for Master of Teaching students and in her Gratitude in Education postgraduate course. Kerry has presented her research and approach to teaching and learning through gratitude in invited presentations at numerous universities, schools and other contexts across five continents.
Make sure you book a spot before the holidays begin. You may also want to visit Kerry’s Website or watch her TEDx Presentation: www.kerryhowells.com TEDx Presentation: How thanking awakens our thinking
I look forward to welcoming all the parents who can join us for drinks and reflections with Kerry.
