The Rowing Supporters' Group comprises parents who support St Hilda's rowers in three main areas
1. Support of the girls, with early morning training sessions and trips to Brisbane, and beyond, for regattas 2. Fundraising to purchase equipment 3. Parents and friends the chance to develop friendships while at regattas or attending one of the social functions.
Committee Members: The following people volunteered for the 2013 RSG committee, incorporating a range of specific convenor roles:
Supervise and co-ordinate the fundraising efforts of RSG
throughout 2013 towards RSG agreed objectives
Prepare and supervise roster for issuing and retrieving bow numbers at the 6xBSRA regattas; 21 July-25 August
Arrange and roster for post training energy/protein breakfast options immediately after training.
Arrange food and drink supplies and BBQ rosters for all Saturday training sessions at the boat sheds; 21 April-23 June
Arrange transport of the tent trailer to and from Kawana (and assembly/disassembly of the tent) during the BSRA season in Term 3
Supporter’s Tent Convenors
Coordinator all aspects of the parents tent to promote a social and enjoyable event and encourage parent attendance at BSRA regattas including HoR
St Hilda’s Regatta Convenors
Arrange supply logistics and supervise operations on the day for food, catering, drinks, working in conjunction with Lourdes Hill representatives
Arrange the annual rowing presentation at Audi Centre Gold Coast in conjunction with Head of Rowing, including collecting all ticket bookings
State Titles Convenor
Support catering and logistics for the state titles in Bundaberg, in conjunction with Head of Rowing; 14-17 September 2013

Training Students who have signed up for rowing – please be aware that training will commence at the start of Term 2. The training schedule for each year group will be available at the end of next week.
