Head of Admissions

Welcome to St Hilda's School

Australian Citizens and Residents

St Hilda's has a strong academic program and a broad and progressive curriculum designed to prepare students for tertiary studies and careers in the 21st century in the areas of business, the arts, engineering, music, medicine and law.  Over 95% of our graduates will go onto further study. Our students are encouraged to follow their interests whether in sport, art or music and to participate fully in the academic, co-curricular and cultural life of the school. We provide comprehensive programs in music, art, drama, debating and public speaking as part of our co-curricular program.

We welcome enquiries and applications for entry into all year groups, however, if you are considering enrolling your daughter for entry this year or the next year, I encourage you to contact me, prior to lodging an application, to ensure there is a place available.

If you would like to have a Prospectus and Application emailed or posted to you, please provide your details here.

Alternatively, please download an Application Form and
forward it to the School along with a copy of your daughter's most recent school reports and NAPLAN results (if applicable).

Enrolment Process

Please complete the Application Form and return it to the School with supporting documentation and Application Fee of $110. Please ensure that the application is signed by both natural parents, whether married or divorced, as we encourage both parents to be supportive of their daughter’s education at St Hilda’s School.

As places are limited in some year levels, I would urge you to submit your Application as soon as you are able.

As a non-selective school no entrance examination is required. However, we will ask you and your daughters to participate in an enrolment interview (via skype if necessary if a visit to the school is difficult), in the year prior to entry, to discuss St Hilda’s School life, curriculum and co-curricular opportunities and any other aspect relevant to your daughters’s education, prior to an offer of a place being made.

Subject to availability of a place, a formal offer of enrolment will be made following the enrolment interview. To accept and reserve a place for your daughter in the nominated year level we will ask you to sign an Enrolment Contract and pay a non-refundable Enrolment Confirmation Fee of $980.

Current students will welcome your daughter on her first day to ensure she becomes part of her Year Group. This transition is helped by staff who are aware of any new girls coming to their classes.
