St Hilda’s School is owned by the Diocese of Brisbane and the School Council is appointed by the Archbishop in Council. The major functions of the School Council are the appointment of the School Principal, the fixing of the annual budget and the fixing of school policy. The Principal, in the role of Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the day-to-day running of the School. All staff are responsible for carrying out their duties.

Boarding House Staff are an integral part of the team which cares for the development of the girls. Each must have a genuine desire to work with adolescent girls who are living in an environment away from their homes. Experience in residential care would be an advantage, but is not essential.
The successful applicant will have experience and enjoy working with adolescent girls in a residential environment. We are looking for candidates who can show initiative and have the ability to engage the girls in activities. The candidate must hold, or be eligible to apply for, a Blue Card and be willing to have their name submitted to the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register.
