From the Principal
Strategic Plan 2021-25

St Hilda’s School began as a unique educational opportunity for girls more than a century ago, and today we continue to fulfil that mission.

We prepare our students in a nurturing environment, which recognises that education is about developing people who can flourish in all areas of life; to serve, shape, and change the world. A process of extensive collaboration continues to inform our 2021 – 2025 Strategic Plan.

The ongoing commitment of School Council, School Leadership, and Staff to advance our four strategic platforms, ‘Learning, Enriching, Engaging and Sustaining’, has had a positive impact on enriching the experience of our diverse
students and community.

Our student-centred environment promotes student agency and efficacy in the classroom, through committee structures, leadership positions, and our Student Council. Our students are confident to share ideas and lead change.

The direction of our curriculum and co-curricular programs continues to benefit from an active student voice. I write this message as we enter the second year of the world adjusting to life with a global pandemic. I am grateful for the energy and dedication of our community, whose collective efforts maintain the momentum of our Strategic Plan.

The insight our parents bring to our Support Groups and the faith and trust which is placed in our staff invigorates our endeavours. Together we are committed to our Anglican heritage, seeking to meet the needs of the whole person, mind, heart, body, and soul. As Principal, I believe this philosophy serves our girls and our School well to meet the challenges of today and the future.
