As part of our commitment to nurturing the talents of individual students, St Hilda’s School offers scholarships and bursaries each year to students entering Years 7 to 11. Scholarships and Bursaries provide part remission of tuition fees or boarding fees.
Recipients are expected to commit to the life and values of the school, demonstrate active leadership and contribute fully to the academic and co-curricular programs.
Academic scholarships are available for students entering Years 7 to 11 who demonstrate academic excellence in their school record and in the scholarship test.
Sporting Excellence Scholarship
Excellence in Sport is recognized by this scholarship. The student must be able to demonstrate a history of excellence in sport and sustained academic endeavor. These scholarships are available for students entering Years 7, 8, 9 or 10. Please note that Sport Scholarships are awarded on the basis of a student’s contribution to St Hilda’s sport.
Music students of any instrumental or vocal study entering Years 7, 8, 9 or 10 are welcome to apply for a St Hilda’s School Music Scholarship. The successful candidate will be expected to continue her musical tuition and studies for the duration of the scholarship and contribute to the musical life of the school. AMEB Grade 3 or higher is the minimum performance standard required.
St Hilda’s Old Girls’ Association will offer a scholarship for the daughter or granddaughter of an OGA member entering as a new student in Years 7 to 11. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence in their school record and scholarship testing.
Boarding Scholarship and Bursary – Years 6 to Year 11
Boarding bursaries are considered for girls who demonstrate a strong desire to attend St Hilda’s School and whose families may require additional assistance to provide the opportunity.
