AUSTRALIAN OLYMPIC CHANGE-MAKER AWARD
Congratulations to Kiera Gazzard (Year 12) on being a recipient of the Australian Olympic Change-Maker Award. In its inaugural year, this award recognises Australian secondary school students who are demonstrating the Olympic spirit through leadership and driving positive change in their communities.
Last week Analiese Murphy (Year 6) travelled to Queenstown, New Zealand to complete in the Queenstown Marathon 3km event. Despite a year where Analiese was managing an injury, she performed very well in the very scenic run through the beautiful Queenstown Gardens and Streets to place 2nd.
Earlier in the year Analiese competed at the State Cross Country Championships and State Athletics Championships where she placed 8th in the 1500m.
EQUESTRIAN STATE TITLES
Paige Sinnamon (Year 9) recently competed in the Equestrian State Championships and placed third. This now qualifies Paige for the Australasian Show Horse and Rider Championships in December. We wish Paige well in this competition!
GOLD COAST CHAMPIONSHIP TENNIS
Congratulations to Sarah Bigg (Year 6) on winning the Gold Coast Tennis Championships last week.
