GYMNASTICS STATE TITLES

Gymnasts, Diana Shtengelova (Year 7), Annaliese Clarke (Year 9) and Madison Frankling (Year 11) competed at the State Titles this month and we congratulate them on their efforts. A special mention to Diana on her fantastic results in this competition – Level 7 Under 12 5^th Overall and 5^th Floor.

BALLET NEWS

Yve-Noelle Bollinger and Diana Shtengelova (Year 7) participated in the week-long intensive camp at the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne during the school holidays.

Yve-Noelle also competed in two competitions with the following results:

SUNSHINE COAST EISTEDDFOD:

1^st place – Classical Ballet solo 12 yrs

3^rd place – Contemporary solo 12 yrs

Highly Commended – Lyrical solo 12 yrs

Junior Bursary FINALIST

STARBOUND EISTEDDFOD:

1^st place – Classical Ballet solo 12 yrs

1^st place – Demi-character solo 12 yrs

2^nd place – Lyrical solo 12 yrs

2^nd place – Classical Improvisation solo 12/under

3^rd place – Contemporary solo 12 yrs

Diana competed and was a finalist in the Jacqueline Morland Awards.

BASKETBALL STATE CAMP SELECTION

Congratulations to Eva Pinkerton (Year 10) on her selection in the State Training Camp to be held in Brisbane this weekend. The Training Camp will provide Eva with a wonderful opportunity to continue to develop her skills with young talent across Queensland. Eva’s Division 1 Gold Coast Under 16 team recently won bronze at the Queensland State Titles. Well done to Eva who has recently returned to competition after a broken finger.
