OLYMPIC DREAM REALISED

It was so inspiring to see Kiera Gazzard (St Hilda’s School and Athena Program Graduate 2019) competing at the Tokyo Olympics recently. Kiera is a member of the Australian Artistic Swimming Team who placed 9th overall. Artistic Swimming is a mix of swimming, acrobatics and dance choreographed into a routine for 8 team members.

Following years of training and sacrifice, Kiera was able to live her dream of Olympic selection and competition. Kiera and her family moved to the Gold Coast from Sydney to train and give her the opportunity to develop further her skills and qualify for selection in the Australian Team. In the lead up to the Olympic Games Kiera competed at the 2017 and 2019 World Championships.

We are so proud of Kiera and her achievements and look forward to seeing what is next for Kiera in her Artistic Swimming career.
