We have welcomed 3 new students and their families, plus 4 exchange students to our Boarding community this Term. Shaniquwa, Zahlia, Ciara, Polly, Gardiner, Louisa and Bella are warmly welcomed, and we can almost say that they have become part of the furniture.

Speaking of furniture, the new kitchens and common rooms in Darragh have helped the girls adopt the Term 3 theme: ‘Yes We Can’. The efficiency of our Facilities Team has assisted in creating a space that’s just like ‘Home’. We are hopeful that the inspiring spaces and free note pads will drive the girls to set weekly goals and accomplish lots. See the wonderful pictures below.

The implementation of Boardingware, our new leave system is going well. Initially there were a few hiccups, but these have now been ironed out. Thank you for your patience as we look to improve Boarding processes.

St Hilda’s School’s NAIDOC Week was held in Week 2 and alongside this we continued the theme: ‘Because of Her We Can’ and have encouraged girls to look for inspiration and motivation from female role models within their families or community. Photos will be posted on Facebook St Hilda’s Boarders and Twitter  @hildasboarding  within the next few days.

Enjoy the pictures of students from the first 2 exciting weeks of the new Term!
