Congratulations to the St Hilda’s Aquatics team who competed at the Miami Preparation Meet last Saturday, 7 November. A great cross-section of the Club competed, with many Junior members winning medals and forging ahead with personal bests. Overall we won 5 Gold, 13 Silver and 7 Bronze medals!
Well done to our stand out Silver Medal winning Junior performers, Emmerson Nunn and Coen Modlich.
In the Senior ranks we congratulate Bianca Rayward who secured a National Qualifying time for the 200 Butterfly, and also Halle Kapeechkin and Enoch Robb who achieved State qualifying times in the 100m Breaststroke and the 200IM respectively.
We are getting to a very exciting stage of the competitive swimming calendar with QLD Championships held next month. There is also much excitement building over the upcoming Swimming Gold Coast Relay Championships, as our youngest swimmers also get to participate and join in the camaraderie. We wish all our Swimmers good luck!
To celebrate our 100 Year Anniversary of the OGA in 2022, we are compiling an Old Girls’ Association Cookbook!
We’re delighted to invite Old Girls to send in their favourite recipes. Alongside your recipe, we’d also love to include photos and related anecdotes.
Email your recipe and the story behind it to oldgirls@sthildas.qld.edu.au
