To all members of the St Hilda’s community,
I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to our St Hilda’s 2019 Senior students on their final academic results.
In this, the last year of Queensland’s OP system, our Seniors achieved our School’s highest Queensland Core Skills test results since its introduction.
Three of our students received the highest score possible in Queensland, an OP1. We look forward to recognising their achievements, and the achievements of a further 10 students from the 2019 cohort who achieved in the OP2-3 band, at our 2019 Scholars’ Assembly.
Twenty-eight percent of our girls achieved in the range of OP 1-5, seventy-four percent scored an OP 1-10 and ninety-five percent achieved an OP 1-15.
Further to this, forty-four of our Senior girls graduated with a total of 62 Vocational Education and Training (VET) Qualifications in a range of areas, including twenty-eight Diplomas, twenty-two Certificate II, eleven Certificate III and one Certificate IV.
I would like to extend my thanks to all staff and parents who have supported the students throughout 2019 and wish the girls every success in their future endeavours.
Ms Wendy Lauman
