St Hilda’s School offers an exciting opportunity for an innovative leader to be appointed to the position of Head of Junior Boarding covering a fixed term maternity leave contract. We are seeking a proactive and caring person to provide leadership and administrative assistance within our boarding house.

St Hilda’s School is one of Australia’s leading P-12 Anglican Day and Boarding Schools for girls located on the Gold Coast of Queensland. Head of Junior Boarding

Maternity Leave Contract – Full Time

27 February 2023 -29 March 2024

The Head of Junior Boarding oversees the pastoral care (physical, emotional, spiritual and academic wellbeing) offered to girls in their care and maintains professional and pastoral contact with Boarder parents. This role reports to the Head of Boarding and works closely with the Head of Senior Boarding and Connection and Activities Coordinator.

The successful applicant must hold Queensland College of Teachers registration or be working towards this and be willing to have their name submitted to the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register.

Due to the nature of the role the incumbent will be required to live on campus. Accommodation is provided to the individual and their family (if applicable) within the School campus, along with reasonable costs for utilities.
