Co-Curricular Clubs

Once the academic day is completed at 3.25pm, students are able to participate in a range of Co-Curricular Clubs and activities delivered by our class teachers. The activities organised for the students are wide-ranging and available to girls from Prep to 6.

Co-Curricular Club activities are optional, non-fee paying and are organised and managed by the staff of the Junior School. Participation in Co-Curricular Clubs allows our students to work and play with girls from other form classes and year levels, aiding in the development of social skills.

2021 Co-Curricular Clubs

Please Note: Co-Curricular Clubs will conclude in Week 6 of Term 4 and recommence in Term 1, 2022. Expressions of Interest forms for participation in Semester 1 2022 Clubs will be distributed in Week 1 of Term 1 2022.

The following clubs will be on offer in the Junior School in Semester 2, 2022. All activities are non-fee paying (unless otherwise stated) and are organised and managed by the staff of the Junior School. Numbers are limited in some of the activities and therefore students will be accommodated on the basis of first come first served. However, to ensure maximum participation, there will be a limit on the number of clubs individual students can register for during the year. Additionally, clubs must have a maximum of 5 students to be active. Parents will be notified if any clubs are not to go ahead as planned.

Please carefully consider the commitments your daughter may have, including music, Andrews Cup sports training and external commitments prior to considering registering for a Co-Curricular club.

To join please email Junior School Reception (jsreception@sthildas.qld.edu.au) indicating your daughters preference.

Please note: The following procedures are in place to ensure the safety of our girls attending afternoon Co-Curricular Clubs. A roll call will be taken at the beginning of the session for all after school activities and parents of any students who are absent will be contacted regarding their daughter’s absence. Parents are requested to contact the school to advise if their daughter is not attending the activity they have registered to participate in prior to 3.00pm to avoid unnecessary confusion. Please contact the Junior School Reception on 5577 7230.

Selections for Semester 2 Clubs will be made available later in the year.
