Junior School Student Representative Council

The Junior School Student Council enables the Junior School students’ voice to be heard. It acts as a vital channel of communication within the Junior School and provides a platform for students’ views, opinions and
ideas to be heard, discussed and acted upon. Comprised of three Year 6 leaders and representatives from Years 3 to 6, the Student Council works as a team to support all students of the Junior School.

The Student Council meets every fortnight. Guided by the leaders and their representatives, discussion centres on student ideas, improvements, current issues, upcoming events or future initiatives.

The Junior School Student Council has contributed to the development of many projects throughout the Junior School campus including the new Years 4 to 6 playground and the Fairy Garden.

The Student Council also proudly supports and raises funds for many charities and associations including the Surfers Paradise Anglican Crisis Centre and others such as natural disaster relief campaigns, as guided by the students.
