Enthusiastic Performances Start the Term

St Hilda’s musicians have been out in force during the first week of Term 2.

Anzac Day

A big thank you to the combined talents of our Middle and Senior School musicians and staff whose contribution to the Anzac Day Service on the first Friday of term greatly assisted in commemorating our national day of remembrance.

The service featured a stunning choral piece sung by Senza Ragazzi and ceremonial music played by the Middle School & Senior Concert Bands including Saskia Billson’s (Year 12) beautiful rendition of “The Last Post”.

“Frozen” Excursion

An enthusiastic group of music and drama students and parents got to see the stunning production of “Frozen” currently performing at QPAC in Brisbane. The group was blown away by this musical which combined stunning technical effects with some well known music including the very familiar “Let It Go”. Through music and precision performances by a very talented cast, the excitement in the theatre and amongst the group was palpable.
