Sports News – Term 1 so far!

Congratulations to Year 7 student Summer Osborne who has been named in the 19 years District Tennis Team. What an incredible achievement at such a young age!

QLD State Age Swimming Championships

Congratulations to the following girls who competed in the QLD State Age Swimming Championships during the School Holidays. We had some wonderful results:

  • Lulu Macleod, 15 years girls
    • 3rd in the 200m backstroke
    • 3rd in the 200m freestyle
    • 4th in the 100m freestyle
    • 1st in the 400m freestyle
  • Georgie Roper, 14 years girls
    • 3rd in the 800m freestyle
    • 9th in the 100m freestyle
    • 5th in the 400m individual medley (3rd as 14 yr old)
    • 7th in the 400m freestyle
    • 8th in the 100m breaststroke
    • 2nd in the 1500m freestyle
    • 7th in the 200m individual medley
  • Lili Baumann, 12 years girls
    • 10th in the 100m butterfly
    • 8th in the 200m butterfly
    • 10th in the 800m freestyle
  • Julia Kater, 14 years girls
    • 3rd in the 400m freestyle (Australian Open Qualifying time)
    • 6th in the breaststroke
    • 1st in the 400m individual medley
    • 2nd in the 200m Individual Medley (Australian Open Qualifying Time)
    • 2 Olympic Trial qualifying times!
  • Ava Brickley, 15 years girls
    • 7th in the 100m backstroke
    • 5th in the 200m backstroke
  • Georgia Lea’aetoa, 12 years girls
    • 10th in the 100m freestyle
    • 6th in the 50m freestyle

Congratulations to Holly Smith who has been named in the U15 Queensland Cricket Team.
