School Sport Shout Outs!

South Coast Triathlon – Congratulations to Alexia Abela, Harriet Irving and Isla Hawkins who represented South Coast at the State Triathlon in Hervey Bay.

South Coast Softball – Congratulations to Maddison Hallinan and Isabella Hallinan who were both selected into the South Coast Softball team and will compete at the State Championships in March.

State Swimming – Congratulations to the following students who placed top 3 at State Titles:

Gold Coast Titans Netball – Congratulations to Madeline Smith who was selected into the newly formed Netball franchise. Well done Maddy!

 

QLD State Rowing Championships – Congratulations to Kalya Welsh and Jessie Hudson who placed Bronze in the Women’s U16 Quad Scull. Congratulations also to Jaz Ingall who placed 1st in the Women’s Lightweight Double Scull and 4th in the Women’s U19 Double Scull. Jaz was also selected in the 2022 Queensland Schoolgirls Pathways Eight Squad and will be involved in additional training camps and competitions throughout the year. Well done Kayla, Jessie and Jaz!

 

GC Representative Basketball – Congratulations to Swetha Ramesh and Cleone Halsall who have both been selected into the U14 Gold Coast Waves/Rollers Basketball teams. Well done Swetha and Cleone!

 

Queensland South State Performance Program – Congratulations to Eva Pinkerton who has been selected into the U16 and Paige Le Gassick into the U18 Basketball QLD High Performance Program – well done Eva and Paige!

 

State Surf Lifesaving – Congratulations to Maeka Free who placed 2nd at the Branch Lifesaver Surf Competition and will now be competing at States in Bundaberg – well done Maeka!

 

The St Hilda’s Sport Team regularly gets school sport results and achievements. The Sport Team loves to be kept up to date with our girl’s achievements across a wide range of club and non-school sports.
