Sherilee Ramsey Memorial Game Review

The first game was really good. The younger girls showed a surprisingly large amount of aggression on court with Finn Jeffries and Tatiana Belapuna deserving shout outs for the moves they pulled off. The Seniors vs Coaches game was a really close contest and the fitness of the seniors was definitely an advantage in this case, but the shots and intercepts pulled off by the coaches, especially Justin Murillo who wore the crazy pants, were pretty incredible.

Shout outs go to Ailsa Hurford and Lillian Dell for that game. The Opens vs Ramsay game was really good to watch, the Opens team, with the addition of a few senior players, worked really hard and put up great competition for the Ramsay team. Mrs Pinkerton was very impressive – she would have been intimidating to come up against. Everyone looked like they were having heaps of fun and were smiling by the end of it. Shout out to Petra Dalle Cort for continuously talking on court, and Lillian again for stepping up to play again for the following game.

Football Season Review

This year’s football season has been outstanding for both our junior and intermediate teams! All players have performed exceptionally well throughout the season, putting 110% into every single training and game and never giving up until the very end. As always, a big thank you must go towards the coaches and teachers involved, helping make everything happen and were a huge component of this season. Our Juniors improved dramatically with many girls never playing prior to this year. They were able to finish with 7th place, whilst the intermediates scored a very solid 3rd place on the ladder, which is a very big improvement from last year! Congratulations girls and thank you for such a great season!

Football Captains – Madeleine McClintock and Pip Bassingthwaighte

Touch Football Season Review

What an incredible season! Every team performed at extremely high levels for the majority of the season with every team placing in the top 4 in their division, our best overall result in St Hilda’s touch football history. The support and school spirit shown by the Roo Pen was beyond anything we have seen at touch before and we are incredibly proud of every team and every player. A shout out to the amazing coaching team for all their efforts over the season and we hope that every team keeps that fire in their bellies and pushes for even better results in 2020!
