There were some great age races and some truly brilliant efforts in relays that resulted in our reclaiming of the shield for 2021! St Hilda’s won by a narrow margin of 9 points and the girls showed great sportsmanship, spirit, and school pride.

  • St Hilda’s Club Netball has begun for Season 2021 with a record number of girls playing this year. We have six teams competing in the Intermediate division, and two teams in the Ladies division at Southport Carrara Netball Association on Monday afternoons and evenings. On Saturday we held trials for our Year 5 and Year 6 players, with four teams being selected from this group to play on Saturday mornings in the Junior Competition. All teams have had a great start to the season with trainings well underway. It is great to see the passion our coaches have for developing individual skills along with team dynamics. Thank you to all involved who have enabled such a successful start to the season. Stay on the lookout for some more Netball news about upcoming coaching clinics and game reports.
