Grants and Internships are available to students entering Year 11, made possible by St Hilda’s Foundation in partnership with News Corp, the Gold Coast Suns, Qscan and Triple Eight Race Engineering.
Each Grant provides the recipient with the opportunity to complete a 2-week internship; an opportunity to gain valuable experience and assist with the student’s relationship and/or application with the corresponding business after their graduation.
Financial support assists the successful student’s endeavours, thanks to the generous donors of St Hilda’s Foundation.
Rebecca Wilson News Corp Grant
The Rebecca Wilson News Corp Grant is proudly presented by the St Hilda’s Foundation each year to a current Year 11 student at St Hilda’s School with advanced skills in communications and an interest in Journalism and Public Relations.
The St Hilda’s Foundation launched the Rebecca Wilson Grant at its 2017 Business Luncheon, in partnership with News Corp.
Rebecca Wilson (1961-2016) was a renowned sports columnist, broadcaster, trailblazer in Journalism and St Hilda’s alumna.
Gold Coast Suns Game Day Grant
The Gold Coast Suns Game Day Grant is proudly presented by the St Hilda’s Foundation each year to a current Year 11 student at St Hilda’s School with an interest In Sports Management or Event Management.
The rise of the AFL Women’s has provided a unique opportunity to align with our local AFL Club, and share the desire to further opportunities for Women in Sport.
Nulon Racing Engineering Grant
The Nulon Engineering Grant is proudly presented by the St Hilda’s Foundation to a current Year 11 student at St Hilda’s School with an interest in Mechanical Engineering.
Engaging women in this area of Engineering is a shared vision for both St Hilda’s School and Nulon Racing Engineering. This opportunity will give girls a thrilling insight to engineering, using motorsport as a tool to give first-hand, valuable experience of every area of high-precision engineering.

Women in Medicine Qscan Grant
The Woman in Medicine Grant is proudly presented by the St Hilda’s Foundation and Qscan Radiology to a current Year 11 student at St Hilda’s School with an interest in Medicine and Radiology.
This is an initiative to acknowledge the important contribution of women in medicine, and to give opportunities to young women in the health industry.
Qscan provides a unique insight to a variety of specialised medical professions.
