YEARS 11 and 12

The Years 11–12 curriculum is based on the QCAA Senior Syllabuses and ensuring students meet the state standards in order to achieve their QCE. All assessment tasks are aligned with QCAA assessment objectives, enabling students to demonstrate higher-order thinking and mastery across Units 1–4. Adjustments and support provisions are facilitated through the appropriate Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments (AARA) to ensure equitable access to assessments and learning environments.

Students may pursue:

  • General and Applied QCAA subjects
  • Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications
  • Extension courses or university head-start programs

Continuous feedback, moderated assessments, and targeted reporting (including Continuous Academic Reporting and Semester Reports) support each student in achieving academic success and personal excellence.
