St Hilda’s School offers a limited number of Scholarships to committed, high-performing students, providing them with every opportunity to extend their learning, growth, and development.

If applying for a Year 5, 7 or 10 Academic Scholarship or the Year 10 St Hilda’s Foundation Scholarship – you must also register for the Edutest Scholarship exam here.
Shortlisted Music Scholarship applicants are invited to audition on Friday, 27 February 2026.
Academic Scholarship applicants sit test on Saturday, 28 February 2026.

Shortlisted applicants are invited to sit an interview in March/April.
NB. Students who do not currently attend St Hilda’s School or have not yet submitted a St Hilda’s Enrolment Application form will be required to submit a St Hilda’s School Enrolment Application form before attending an interview.
Candidates will be advised of the outcome of their scholarship application by the end of April.
Overview
Students looking to enter into Year 5 who have both high academic achievement and strong work ethic are encouraged to apply for the St Hilda's School Years 5 Academic Scholarship. Scholarship applications are open to new and current students. New Year 5 Scholarship recipients may be invited to join the Year 5 Honours Class.
The Scholarship provides part remission of tuition fees, for the successful recipient.
Eligibility
St Hilda's Junior School Academic Scholarships are awarded each year to talented students entering Year 5. It is expected that all Scholarship and Bursary Recipients will maintain a high level of achievement relevant to their Scholarship or Bursary and will consistently contribute and display commitment to St Hilda’s School life. This encompasses regular attendance at training sessions/lessons and participating in relevant events as well as consistently representing self and school with honour and pride.

- Daughter’s last two (2) school reports (translated into English and certified as a true and correct copy if necessary).
- Daughter’s most recent NAPLAN results.

Overview
Excellence in Sport is recognised by this scholarship. The student must be able to demonstrate a history of excellence in sport and sustained academic endeavour. These scholarships are available for students entering Years 7 and 10.
As part of St Hilda's commitment to nurturing the talents of individual students, and to align ourselves with the Queensland Government's initiative to identify and develop local athletes that can deliver glory at the 2032 Brisbane Olympics, St Hilda's School is offering a limited number of Scholarships. The purpose of the program is to provide talented and aspiring athletes with the correct support and training, so they may achieve at a high level, whilst providing them with a first-class education.
The Scholarship provides part remission of tuition fees, for the successful recipients.
Eligibility
Please note that Sporting Scholarships are awarded on the basis of a student’s attainment of state and national level in a Queensland Girls Secondary School Sporting Association (QGSSSA) and Brisbane Schoolgirls Rowing Association (BSRA) sports where St Hilda’s School participates. Eligible sports include:
- Tennis
- Basketball
- Football (Soccer)
- Touch Football
- Netball
- Volleyball

- Badminton
- Artistic Gymnastics
- Cross Country

For students to remain eligible for this scholarship, they must train and compete in their field of expertise for St Hilda's School. To be eligible to apply for a sports scholarship, applicants must be competing at a state or national level. It is expected that all Scholarship and Bursary Recipients will maintain a high level of achievement relevant to their Scholarship or Bursary and will consistently contribute and display commitment to St Hilda’s School life. This encompasses regular attendance at training sessions/lessons and participating in relevant events as well as consistently representing self and school with honour and pride.
Applicants must have the drive to succeed and appetite to achieve in the areas of academic, co-curricular and the life of the school. The Scholarships are open to new and existing students in Years 7 and 10, and the successful applicants will be required to act as ambassadors for St Hilda’s School and St Hilda’s Aquatics. It is expected that the St Hilda’s Scholarship Recipients will maintain a high level of achievement and will consistently contribute and display commitment to St Hilda’s School life.
This encompasses regular attendance at training sessions and participating in relevant events as well as consistently representing self, School and St Hilda’s Aquatics Club with honour and pride.

Overview
The Betty and Sheila Daley, and Hutchinson Fittock Isolated Children’s Boarding bursaries are considered for girls from a remote area who demonstrate a strong desire to attend St Hilda’s School and whose families may require additional assistance to provide the opportunity for their girls to become a part of and contribute to the St Hilda’s School community in Years 7 and 10.
The Scholarship provides part remission of boarding fees, for the successful recipient.
Eligibility
It is expected that all Scholarship and Bursary Recipients will maintain a high level of achievement relevant to their Scholarship or Bursary and will consistently contribute and display commitment to St Hilda’s School life. This encompasses regular attendance at training sessions/lessons and participating in relevant events as well as consistently representing self and school with honour and pride.
For recipients in Years 7 and 10, ongoing reviews of Scholarships and Bursaries will take place with a relevant member of St Hilda’s School staff. These reviews will discuss progress and performance and ensure that girls are feeling supported and able to meet expectations.
Boarding Bursary’s are awarded to families in financial need and parent eligibility to receive LAFHA will be considered. Parent financial statements may be requested.
Students applying for a boarding bursary are not required to sit the scholarship testing or register for EduTest

Overview
We believe that every young woman deserves the opportunity to wear the St Hilda’s School uniform. The newly-created Foundation Scholarship provides students with a unique St Hilda’s experience, where it otherwise wouldn't be possible.
The Scholarship provides full remission of tuition fees, for one student entering Year 10.
Eligibility
It is expected that the St Hilda’s Foundation Scholarship Recipient will maintain a high level of achievement and will consistently contribute and display commitment to St Hilda’s School life. This encompasses regular attendance at training sessions/lessons and participating in relevant events as well as consistently representing self, School and the Foundation with honour and pride.
Applicants must have the drive to succeed and appetite to achieve in the areas of academic, co-curricular and the life of the school. The St Hilda’s Foundation is open to a new day student in Year 10 each year. The successful applicant will be required to act as an ambassador for St Hilda’s School and St Hilda’s Foundation.
The successful applicant must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia.

Overview
Music students of any instrumental or vocal study entering Years 7 and 10 are encouraged to apply for a St Hilda’s School Music Scholarship. The successful candidate will be expected to continue her musical tuition and studies for the duration of the scholarship and contribute to the musical life of the school.
The Scholarship provides part remission of tuition fees, for the successful recipient.
Eligibility
AMEB Grade 5 or higher is the minimum performance standard required.
Auditions will be held at St Hilda's School. For students unable to attend a face-to-face audition, a virtual audition will be made available. Current St Hilda's Students are not required to sit an audition and will be assessed by their music teacher in class.
It is expected that all Scholarship and Bursary Recipients will maintain a high level of achievement relevant to their Scholarship or Bursary and will consistently contribute and display commitment to St Hilda’s School life.

The St Hilda’s Old Girls’ Association (OGA) offers a bursary for the daughter or granddaughter of an OGA member entering as a new student in Years 7 and 10. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence in their school record and scholarship testing.

It is expected that all Scholarship and Bursary Recipients will maintain a high level of achievement relevant to their Scholarship or Bursary and will consistently contribute and display commitment to St Hilda’s School life.

Registrations are now open for all 2027 scholarships. Registrations close on Friday, 20 February 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.
Current students entering Years 5, 7 or 10 in 2027 who are not currently receiving a scholarship or bursary are welcome to apply.
