Open Day at St Hilda's School
Friday 2 August (8.30 to 2.30 pm)
A great way to discover more about the learning environment at St Hilda's School is to visit us.
Prospective families are invited to visit us on Open Day this year is on Friday 2 August, between 8.30 am and 2.30 pm to see our students undertaking classroom work in a learning environment and the technologies in use. Students and parents will experience the heart of St Hilda’s and how it works. You will have an opportunity to speak with members of the leadership team and with some of our wonderful students.
Visitors can also book a place on the very popular Head of School Tours, Boarding House Tours and general campus tours of Junior and Secondary School to be conducted on Open Day.
Head of School Tours
Head of School Mr Peter Crawley will be escorting three groups on Open Day, visiting the new $5 million Centre for Scientific Learning and Research, The Langford Theatre, the Horton Library and Visual Arts precincts and the new Junior School multi-purpose centre and gymnasium.
Bookings are essential for Head of School Tours (times to be advised).
Mr Crawley offers a strong voice to the vision of education for girls and will focus his insights on the importance of technology in education, the development of character and leadership in modern women and the importance of architecture in creating exciting learning spaces in schools. If you are looking for a dynamic and creative learning environment for your daughter, we invite you to join a tour, talk with Mr Crawley and meet some of the wonderful students of our school.
General Tours of the Campus – Junior, Middle and Senior
Students will lead visitors through a showcase of learning experiences across core and specialist subjects. See 'live learning' and the use of new technologies in the classrooms.
General tours of the campus will depart approximately every 20 minutes from 9am.
Boarding House Tours
The Head of Boarding will lead families on a tour through our Boarding facilities. Bookins are essential for the Boarding House tours (times to be advised).

Parking is available through Gate 13 in Whitby Street, or through Gate 7 in Cougal Street Southport. Ushers and guides will be at these parking areas to escort you to the Bev Philben Room.
